Chris Good’s background in financial advisory, investment banking and private equity has provided him with a valuable perspective in helping deliver actionable solutions for challenges facing our clients. His experience covers a range of industries, including retail, financial services, technology, energy, consumer products, industrials, distribution and agriculture.
At M-III, Chris has led short- and long-term advisory assignments for clients in the retail, financial and entertainment industries, assisting clients in key operational, financial and analytical projects to improve financial performance, reduce working capital needs, obtain better insight into their businesses and set the stage for profitable growth. Chris was instrumental in leading a music entertainment company through a transformation serving as the Company’s Interim Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining M-III, Chris served as a Private Equity Associate at Grey Mountain Partners, which focused on providing deep operational expertise to middle market companies. During his tenure there, Chris was involved in the acquisition of middle-market industrial companies and also served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer of a cloud-based “Infrastructure-as-a-Service” provider.
Prior to Grey Mountain, Chris served as an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Groups at Citigroup and RBC Capital Markets. During this time there, he advised leading private equity shops and companies in M&A advisory and capital markets transactions.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a finance concentration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds Series 79 and 63 certifications.
